Through my voice and imagination, I breathe life back into dusty old pieces of long-forgotten erotica.

My first focus is going to be on the Pearl Magazine that was published in 1870. This magazine was full of erotic stories, rude poems, and random ads and paraphernalia. The content nowadays would be considered racist, rife with underage content, and incestuous. Basically, inappropriate on many levels.

But this peek into the perverse side of our distant relatives is something that should be shared and preserved. Like many things, to keep them preserved, you need to make adjustments. So here at the Belching Cow, we have taken on the task to preserve the content by removing the more unsavoury themes and content and bring the stories to life both as a podcast and in book format.

We do not take ourselves seriously!

Most of the stories are anything but sexy, with almost medical descriptions of sex, such as "he spent his sperm up to her intestines." So while it is hard to take this content seriously, it can be entertaining in many other ways.
